Q&A 002 — Ordinary

I am afraid I will end up ordinary.
Not a failure.
Not a success.
Just… invisible.

Nothing dramatic happens.
Nothing collapses.
But nothing really begins either.

Why does this fear feel so heavy?

Ossan’s answer

An ossan understands this fear.

Because being ordinary doesn’t hurt loudly.
It hurts quietly.

Failure gives you a story.
Success gives you proof.
Ordinary gives you neither.

That’s why it feels heavier.

People rarely fear being bad.
They fear being unnecessary.

An ossan knows this:

Invisibility is not about talent or effort.
It comes from living in a shape
that was never yours to begin with.

You don’t feel afraid
because you lack ability.
You feel afraid
because you can already imagine
what that life would feel like.

Flat.
Predictable.
Silent.

An ossan doesn’t tell you
to aim higher.

He asks something simpler:

What part of you
would slowly disappear
if you chose that path?

That answer matters more
than standing out ever will.

An ossan would stop here.

Not because there is nothing more to say,
but because saying more would make it advice.
