Some people think
divorce is failure.
A promise broken.
A family changed.
A life rewritten.
Others think
divorce is relief.
Silence.
Space.
Breathing again.
What would an ossan think about divorce?
Ossan’s answer
An ossan doesn’t believe
divorce is the opposite of love.
Divorce is honesty
meeting reality.
And sometimes,
reality changes
before people admit it.
An ossan accepts this quietly.
He doesn’t celebrate divorce.
He doesn’t fear it either.
He looks
at what is still true.
That’s all.
Divorce cannot be clean.
But truth rarely is.
An ossan learns this late:
The hardest part of divorce
is not leaving someone.
It is leaving
the version of yourself
that believed things would stay.
An ossan would stop here.
Not because divorce is solved,
but because staying costs something too.
