Some people believe
elections change everything.
Policies.
Direction.
Future.
Others believe
elections change nothing.
Systems stay.
Power stays.
People adapt.
What would an ossan think about elections?
Ossan’s answer
An ossan doesn’t believe
elections are salvation.
Elections are choice
meeting uncertainty.
And sometimes,
uncertainty remains
no matter who wins.
An ossan accepts this quietly.
He doesn’t worship politics.
He doesn’t abandon it either.
He participates
without expecting rescue.
That’s all.
Elections cannot guarantee change.
But absence guarantees silence.
An ossan learns this late:
The biggest mistake
is not choosing wrong.
It is believing
someone else will choose
for you.
An ossan would stop here.
Not because elections are solved,
but because responsibility costs something.
