Some people believe
distance weakens relationships.
Less contact.
Less warmth.
Less connection.
Others say
distance protects something fragile.
What would an ossan think about distance?
Ossan’s answer
An ossan doesn’t believe
distance is the opposite of closeness.
Distance is space
meeting trust.
And sometimes,
distance appears
because something is trying to survive.
An ossan accepts this quietly.
He doesn’t fear distance.
He doesn’t force closeness.
He stands
where both can breathe.
That’s all.
Distance cannot be eliminated.
But suffocation can.
An ossan learns this late:
The most fragile relationships
are not the ones with distance.
They are the ones
with no space left.
Distance notices respect.
Even when words don’t.
